1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy describes how LowPricer ("we", "our" or "the app"), available at lowpricer.win and on Google Play Store (package com.lowpricer.app), collects, uses, stores and protects user information ("you").
By using LowPricer, you agree to the practices described in this document. We recommend reading it fully before creating an account or using the service.
2. Data we collect
2.1 Data you provide
- Registration: name, email address and password (stored encrypted with Argon2).
- Google sign-in: name, email and Google identifier.
- Profile: avatar photo, if you upload an image.
- Feedback: ratings and comments sent through the app.
- Conversations: messages exchanged with the AI shopping advisor.
2.2 Data generated by app usage
- Search history: search terms, stored encrypted and linked to your account.
- Favorites: products you saved.
- Price alerts: monitored products and price limits.
- Preferences: language, theme and notification settings.
- Session data: JWT authentication tokens and refresh tokens.
2.3 Automatically collected data
- Technical data: device type, operating system, app version.
- Advertising data: Google AdMob advertising identifiers.
- Server logs: IP address, request timestamps and technical errors.
2.4 Data we do not collect
LowPricer does not collect precise location (GPS), device contacts, microphone, camera (except voluntary avatar upload) or financial or payment information.
3. How we use your data
We use your personal data to: create and manage your account; authenticate access; process product searches; interpret purchase intent via AI (OpenAI); save search history, favorites and alerts; send transactional emails; display ads via Google AdMob; improve service quality and security; comply with legal obligations.
4. Sharing with third parties
We may share data with: OpenAI (search terms for intent interpretation, no personal identification data); Google (OAuth and AdMob); infrastructure providers (hosting, PostgreSQL, Redis, SMTP). When you click a product, you are redirected to Shopee, Amazon, Mercado Livre or Awin. We do not sell your personal data.
5. Advertising (Google AdMob)
The app displays ads via Google AdMob. You can manage personalized ad preferences in your Android device settings: Settings → Google → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalization. See the Google Privacy Policy.
6. Storage and security
We use Argon2 password encryption, encrypted search terms, HTTPS/TLS, JWT tokens, rate limiting and AI security guardrails.
7. Data retention
We retain data while your account is active. After deletion, we remove or anonymize personal data within 30 days, except when retention is required by law.
8. Your rights
You have the right to confirmation, access, correction, deletion, portability and consent withdrawal. Email contato@lowpricer.win with subject "Data Request — LowPricer". We respond within 15 business days. To delete your account, see Account deletion.
9. Minors
LowPricer is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy periodically. The last revision date will always be shown at the top of this page.
